Do I have to be a Hoppy customer?
No purchase or membership is required to refer. The program is for adults age 18 or older. Employees and professional referral partners need a separately approved arrangement.
Does an estimate or single-unit replacement qualify?
No. The $500 thank-you is for an eligible full-system replacement that is installed and paid. A booked assessment, repair, furnace-only or AC-only replacement does not qualify for this reward.
What happens if my friend finances the project?
The payment condition is met when Hoppy receives the lender’s funding. Your friend does not have to finish paying off their loan. Installation and all other eligibility conditions still apply.
Can I refer more than one household?
Each eligible household’s first qualifying project may earn one reward. Multiple systems in one project do not create multiple rewards. Self-referrals and already-open replacement opportunities do not qualify.
Does my friend get a discount?
This is a $500 thank-you to the referrer, not a discount on the homeowner’s project. The homeowner receives their own written proposal and chooses whether to proceed. No review or public recommendation is required.
One reward per eligible household’s first qualifying project. Agreement signed within 180 days of the recorded referral. No self-referrals. Eligibility and verification requirements apply.
